WHAT IS URGENT CARE?

Urgent Care services are typically reserved for patients with less serious conditions. No patients are kept overnight at an Urgent Care facility. Patients suffering from a life-threatening event would not be seen at Urgent Care and would be redirected to an Emergency facility.

The Urgent Care team does not provide vaccination, spay/neuter, or wellness services. These should be managed by your primary care veterinarian.

Below is a sample list of cases that would qualify for Urgent Care services:

    • Itching/scratching
    • Chronic weight loss
    • Chronic illnesses/disease
    • Hair loss
    • Red eyes, skin, ears
    • Single seizure with full recovery
    • Vomiting (2 or fewer)
    • Acute diarrhea, no vomiting
    • Blood in urine/straining to urinate
    • Lacerations and mild trauma
    • Non-productive cough, normal breathing
    • Broken toenails
    • Swollen/injured eye
    • Allergic reactions
    • Limping
    • Fox Tails
