Dr. Russel Fugazzi’s journey into veterinary surgery began with a foundation in Biomechanical Engineering at Texas A&M, where he studied the development of artificial heart valves. Since earning his DVM in 1999, he has dedicated his career to mastering advanced surgical techniques, including a residency at Washington State University where he focused on orthopedics, oncologic surgery (cancer removal), and minimally invasive procedures such as arthroscopy and laparoscopy. After refining his skills in Canada, Dr. Fugazzi has returned to the Rogue Valley to provide sophisticated surgical support to our community. Whether performing a complex fracture repair or a delicate soft tissue procedure, his goal is to provide the most in-depth and comprehensive help possible to animals in need.
