Pet Insurance
We highly encourage the use of pet insurance to help manage the costs of unexpected illness or injury. To make the process as seamless as possible, we offer specialized billing for certain providers:
Trupanion: Direct Pay
We are proud to offer Trupanion Direct Pay. If your pet is insured through Trupanion, we can often process your claim in real-time at the time of checkout.
Pay Only Your Portion: With Direct Pay, you are only responsible for your deductible and co-insurance. Trupanion pays the hospital directly for the remainder of the covered bill.
Immediate Approval: This eliminates the “pay-and-wait" reimbursement cycle.
Other Insurance Providers
For all other insurance companies, our policy is payment at the time of service.
Seamless Reimbursement: You will pay your bill in full, and our team will provide all necessary medical records and invoices to help you submit a claim for reimbursement from your provider.
Dedicated Support: Our Client Services team is happy to assist with any documentation required to expedite your insurance claim.
CareCredit
CareCredit is a dedicated health and pet care credit card that allows you to pay for treatments over time.
Promotional Financing: For qualifying purchases, you may be eligible for “No Interest” if paid in full within their promotional period.
Instant Decision: You can apply online or from your phone and receive a decision in seconds.
ScratchPay
ScratchPay offers simple, transparent payment plans without the long-term commitment of a credit card.
Multiple Terms: Plans range from 3 to 24 months, with options for 0% APR on select terms.
Transparent Estimates & Deposits
To maintain operational efficiency and ensure we are prepared for every patient, we follow a consistent financial protocol:
Emergency Stabilization: If your pet arrives in critical condition, an initial deposit may be required to begin immediate life-saving care.
Specialty Consultations: A deposit is required at the time of scheduling to reserve your appointment with our Surgery or Internal Medicine teams. This is fully refundable with at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation.
Diagnostic & Treatment Plan Estimates: Before proceeding with any non-emergency treatments, diagnostic plans, or surgery, we will provide a detailed written estimate and discuss all options with you.
